Tour bus crash - largest accident victim count in over 5 years in Fallbrook area leaves one dead, 19 injured

A chartered tour bus, with 21 people aboard, spun out and overturned in the rain on Interstate 15 in Fallbrook at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Dec. 19. The accident, which occurred just south of the State Route 76 intersection, left one woman dead and 19 other passengers injured. Authorities said the incident resulted in the highest number of injuries in a single crash in over five years here.
