Lieutenant Colonel Thomas J. Bardon, USMC Ret., passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home in Fallbrook at 2:15 a.m. on Tuesday, December 18, 2013, at the age of 93. He was lovingly attended in his last months by his devoted wife, Nancy; his compassionate caretaker, Oneila Lopez; and the kind and competent staff of the Elizabeth Hospice.
