Body Found Near Lake Skinner

TEMECULA - The California Highway Patrol was investigating the discovery of a dead man on the ground on or near a roadway near the Lake Skinner Recreation Area just outside Temecula, authorities said today.

A civilian made the discovery at 11:28 p.m. on Tuesday on Ashfield Lane at Borel Road, according to the CHP.

The man was wearing all black clothing, and the person who found him at first could not tell whether he was injured or had been drinking, according to the CHP. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the CHP....
