Two escape fiery crash with minor injuries on I-15 in Bonsall

BONSALL - Two lucky people in a Toyota 4Runner suffered only minor injuries in a fiery rollover crash on southbound Interstate 1-15 at Gopher Canyon Road today.

The incident occurred at 1:10 p.m. several miles east of the Oceanside city limits, a CHP dispatcher said. The vehicle also had two dogs who jumped out of the vehicle as it rolled off the shoulder and down the embankment.

''The vehicle landed on its side ejecting two people and two dogs before landing on its side and being completely engulfed by flames,'' the dispatcher said.
