Color In Motion 5K race benefits Boys & Girls Clubs - Event still in need of volunteers

TEMECULA – Lots of color and lots of people are expected at the Color In Motion 5K Race on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014. The Boys & Girls Clubs of North County in Fallbrook is pleased to announce that they will be a charity partner for this unique race at Galway Downs in Temecula.

Part of the proceeds will benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of North County. Boys & Girls Clubs of North County, serving 1,500 kids in the North County area, promote the development of young people by instilling a sense of competence, a sense of usefulness, a sense of belonging and a sense of power or influence.

What is the element of “color” involved in the fun event? A harmless, biodegradable color powder is tossed at runners and walkers during the 5K, and is easy to wash off. All ages are welcome to participate in the event. The Color In Motion 5K is a fun, family event and is structured around an atmosphere of excitement.
