Stone stories revealed in ground stone research

SAN PASQUAL VALLEY – A new exhibit on ground stones has opened at the San Diego Archaeological Center. Fallbrook residents who have noticed the large boulders around the area (including at Live Oak Park and along the Santa Margarita Trail) with circular depressions in them can learn how and why they were used by local Indians in the past.
