Ways to improve the community sought

As the next legislative session approaches, Senator Joel Anderson met with several elected officials and community leaders from the Fallbrook community to hear their ideas on how to improve our neighborhoods.

Topics that were discussed ranged from education, fire safety, and water issues to name a few.

“I receive a majority of my bill ideas from the people I represent and Fallbrook is a unique tight-knit community that has great ideas on how to improve our state. In order for me to best represent Fallbrook in Sacramento, I need to hear from community leaders on the issues that are most important to them,” said Anderson.

Dr. Dale Mitchell, superintendent of the Fallbrook Union High School said he had a productive meeting with Senator Anderson and noted the importance of working together with state elected officials.

“I appreciate the Senator taking the time to meet and listen to our ideas on how to improve education in the Fallbrook community. Reform only occurs when we all work together,” said Dr. Mitchell.

Other leaders the Senator met with included Fallbrook Union Elementary School District Superintendent Candy Singh and Bonsall Union School District Superintendent Dr. Justin Cunningham. The Senator also met with North County Fire District Chief Bill Metcalf.

Senator Anderson’s office is still collecting bill ideas and is eager to hear from Fallbrook residents. If you have an idea, please contact the Senator’s office at (951) 676-1020 or email [email protected].
