Warrior girls win River Valley Tournament consolation championship

Fallbrook High School’s girls basketball team won the consolation championship of the Dec. 6 to 7 River Valley Tournament in River Valley, Ariz.

“Played well,” said Fallbrook coach Dan Bachman. “Our only loss was against the eventual tournament champion.”

All four of Fallbrook’s games were at River Valley High School. Fallbrook opened the tournament Dec. 6 with a 40-35 win over Needles High School. The Mustangs had a 30-27 lead entering the fourth quarter. “We were able to overcome that,” Bachman said.
