McStay family to be remembered with memorial, paddle out ceremony on Sat., Jan. 4

SAN CLEMENTE – The McStay Family of Fallbrook, whose remains were found in shallow graves in the Mojave Desert on November 11, will be remembered Sat., Jan. 4 with a memorial service and paddle out ceremony.

The memorial will be held at Vineyard Community Church in Laguna Niguel at noon, where seating will be limited. At 2 p.m., a paddle out will take place from the San Clemente Pier, which will include a beach ceremony and release of four leis into the water to remember Joseph, 40, Summer, 43, and their sons Gianni, 4, and Joey, 3.
