Sarah Benton Halsey

Sarah Benton Halsey, 77, passed away peacefully at her home in Fallbrook, Calif. on Friday December 13, 2013 after a difficult, 3-year battle with facial cancer.

She was born October 23, 1936 in Montreal, Canada, where her father, Russell W. Benton, was a diplomat in the U.S. Foreign Service, but she spent most of her early years in Buffalo, New York. She attended the Buffalo Seminary and graduated from Sweet Briar College in Virginia.
