Recycle holiday trees by putting out for pickup

FALLBROOK – Fallbrook Refuse has said they will pick up holiday trees for recycling on regular service days for contracted customers in the Fallbrook area.

Trees must be removed from stands, and cleared of all tinsel and other decorations before placing for pickup. Tree must be cut in segments no longer than four feet.

Fallbrook Refuse said trees may be placed next to the trash containers for pickup.

According to the County of San Diego and I Love A Clean San Diego, trees and yard trimmings are easily recyclable into mulch and compost.
