Woman, 75, Dies in Winchester House Fire

WINCHESTER - A 75-year-old woman was killed today when flames raced through her double-wide mobile home in Winchester, a spokeswoman said.

Firefighters were dispatched at 6:25 a.m. to the 33900 block of Clinton Avenue, where firefighters saw the home engulfed in fire. The woman was found inside and pronounced dead at the scene, Riverside County Fire Department spokeswoman Melody Hendrickson said.

The woman's name was not immediately released by the coroner's office.
