Betty June Shaffer King

Betty June Shaffer King, 89, died peacefully on Sunday, December 22, 2013 at her home in Bonsall, Calif. Born on January 17, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Leonard E. and Lois M. Berkstresser of Johnstown, Penn. She raised her family in Windber, Penn., and resided in Havre de Grace, Md. and Hacienda Heights, Calif. for a number of years before moving to Bonsall in 2000.

Betty was an active member of the Fallbrook Senior Center, Garden Club, Quilt Guild, and Historical Society and passed on her love of flowers, sewing, and quilting to her family.
