Daughters of Norway to view video on Edvard Munch

FALLBROOK – The Daughters of Norway, Hulda Garborg Lodge #49, will hold its next meeting on Saturday, Jan. 11, at 11 a.m. A video on the life of Edvard Munch will be shown. Munch was a Norwegian painter whose best known painting is “The Scream.” He lost his mother and one sister to tuberculosis when he was quite young. He was also ill for much of the winters during his childhood. These events had a great influence on the subjects and style of his paintings. This is a very interesting video.
