FALLBROOK – The Vintage Car Club recently made a donation to the Live Oak Park Coalition to help fulfill its goal of raising a total of $75,000 to fund two planned projects for the park.
The first project is the development of a fenced area for an off-leash dog park, where dog owners could bring their dogs for exercise and socialization with other dogs.
The second project is construction of a shade structure that would cover the existing children’s play equipment which is presently exposed to the sun’s rays and the resultant heat.
The Live Oak Park Coalition, established 17 years ago, manages and maintains the oak-laced park for the enjoyment and use of community members. The coalition sustains itself solely on donations from the public and non-profit groups as well as fees raised from park reservations and public parking. For more information about the coalition and/or how to make a tax deductible donation, call (760) 723-8780.
