Foundation for Senior Care receives grant for Care Van

FALLBROOK – Seniors in the community will benefit from the Care Van program, funded in part by a grant from Legacy Endowment Community Foundation (LECF). According to Dotty Metcalf, executive director of the Foundation for Senior Care, “$10,000 will go a long way in keeping the Care Vans running around town picking up the elderly and disabled for their appointments. LECF funded this program through a grant from the Elisabeth Wilson Endowment, designated to benefit programs for senior citizens and disabled individuals in San Diego’s North County.
