Veterans receive surprise gifts

On behalf of Fallbrook VFW Post 1924 Ladies Auxiliary, I would like to thank Home Instead Senior Care for generously reaching out to our senior veterans. Home Instead requested a list of veterans that might appreciate a little gift and our idea was to request gift cards to local restaurants as many of our senior veterans no longer cook meals and this would give them an extra meal or two.

You should have seen the smiles on 30 of our veterans’ faces when we presented them with an unexpected gift!
