Mobile Home Fire in Anza Reported

ANZA - A blaze raced through a double-wide mobile home in Anza and destroyed it, a spokeswoman said today.

Firefighters were dispatched at 4:28 p.m. Friday to the home in the 38300 block of McDonald Lane, Riverside County Fire Department spokeswoman Melody Hendrickson said.

Flames engulfed the mobile home but it was surrounded within 15 minutes. Nearby homes and vegetation was not threatened by the fire, Hendrickson said.

No injuries were reported. The fire report did not specify whether the home was occupied or vacant....
