Havers mark 62nd anniversary

FALLBROOK – Edgar and Miyo Haver, residents of Fallbrook, celebrated 62 years of marriage on December 31, 2013. Edgar met Miyo at church while serving in the US Navy stationed in Honolulu. After Edgar was transferred, a San Diego wedding was planned with Miyo arriving just three days beforehand.

A cross-country honeymoon trip moved them to Edgar’s next duty station. Three children were born on the East Coast, but Southern California became home in 1967. Both are retired, and they enjoy spending time with their children and their children’s families which includes eight grandchildren and...
