Man that lead car chase from Riverside County to San Diego hospitalized

MORENO VALLEY - A man who led authorities on a car chase from Riverside County to San Diego was hospitalized today with a bullet wound after an officer-involved shooting, authorities said.

The man first confronted Riverside County sheriff's deputies after they responded to a report of a dispute on Hemlock Avenue in Moreno Valley around 10 p.m. Wednesday, Riverside County sheriff's Deputy Armando Munoz said. An officer-involved shooting then occurred.
