Warrior sticksters reach CIF quarterfinals

Fallbrook High School’s field hockey team reached the CIF Division I quarterfinals.

The Warriors opened post-season play Nov. 16 with a 3-0 home win over Rancho Bernardo but lost a 1-0 match to Torrey Pines in the second round Nov. 19 on the Falcons’ field.

“They played hard and strong all the way to the end,” said Fallbrook coach Kathy Waite.
