SSNAAPE is a valuable resource

The Foundation for Senior Care has many resources available at its fingertips. One of them is SSNAAPE (Senior –Special Needs Animal Assistance Project Endeavor), right here in Fallbrook. While their mission is to encourage adoption of senior and special needs pets and to educate the public regarding elder animal care, the group frequently helps low income senior “human” citizens keep their pets close. Oftentimes, our low income seniors are no longer able to afford veterinarian services, food and grooming that pets require to live long and healthy lives.
