Lori Brown Smith rides in Rose Parade

Lori Brown Smith made her 14th Tournament of Roses Parade appearance Jan. 1.

Smith, a 2001 Oasis High School graduate who was a lifelong Rainbow resident prior to her 2010 marriage, rode with the Spirit of the West Riders equestrian unit during the 5 1/2-mile New Year’s Day parade.

“It was a great time as always,” Smith said. “The crowds were wonderful. The weather was beautiful Southern California weather. I couldn’t have asked for anything better. Bud was awesome as always.”
