Free income tax return preparation service taking appointments

FALLBROOK – AARP’s tax-aide program provides IRS-certified volunteer preparers for the 19th year here in Fallbrook. This program provides tax return preparation for low and middle income taxpayers with special emphasis for seniors. Preparation includes personal federal and California state returns of a non-complex nature.

Make appointments for the Fallbrook Senior Center, 399 Heald Lane, by calling (760) 728-4498 starting on Jan. 28.

Volunteers are not trained to prepare tax forms that include rental or farm income, complex business or partnership income, frequent securities trading, home office deduction, uninsured casualty losses, health savings accounts, or alternative minimum tax. Other restrictions apply.
