Cat genome research team trying to identify hereditary traits

Some attendees at the Jan. 11-15 International Conference on the Status of Plant and Animal Genome Research in San Diego spent part of Jan. 14 learning about the “Lyons’ Den.”

The Lyons’ Den is so called in part because it is headed by Dr. Leslie Lyons of the University of Missouri and in part because it is currently focusing on a more domesticated feline species.
