FALLBROOK – The Fallbrook Library and Fallbrook Kids Serve held their first Community Read-in on Jan. 18 in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. with a goal to log in 6,000 minutes of reading at the library that day. Approximately 150 people participated as volunteers and readers and the goal was surpassed with a total of over 8,700 minutes of reading logged. The event was designed to provide community service opportunities for students while encouraging literacy and family reading.
