FALLBROOK – At a recent Rotary Club of Fallbrook meeting, employees of the month were honored from both the Fallbrook Union Elementary School District (FUESD) and the Fallbrook Union High School District (FUHSD).
FUESD assistant superintendent Dennis Bixler presented Fran Phillips and Rob Loehmann as employees of the month.
Bixler said of Phillips, “She has worked with the district for 16 years, the last four years in the accounting department. She is a hard worker and a team player with a positive attitude. She is very well-liked and respected.”
Of Loehmann, Bixler said, “As a member of the instructional technology team, Rob goes out of his way to help anyone who is in need. He has shown great interest in making Fallbrook’s technology the best it can be and rises to any challenge sent his way. He finds a way to make things work.”
FUHSD superintendent Dr. Dale Mitchell presented Sharla Larsen and Jaime Miramontes for the honor.
“[Sharla] is as instrumental to the success of the athletics program as the principal’s secretary is to the school,” said Mitchell “She is a visible and helpful presence for our coaches, teams, fans, and visitors.”
“Jaime Miramontes, like the other counselors, has seen an increased workload due to the reduction of counseling positions,” said Mitchell. “Because of his Spanish bilingual skills, he is able to provide valuable support to many of our students and parents who need language assistance.”
The employee of the month program is part of the ongoing effort by Fallbrook Rotary to achieve, maintain and reward excellence in the employees of the Fallbrook school system. For more information, visit
