Letters and story stood out

Two letters printed in the January 23, 2014 edition of the Village News caught my eye immediately.

Phil Burns is “on track” with his vision for what Fallbrook can be. After traveling to other areas of the country, one realizes what a gift it is to live in Fallbrook. We have the responsibility to enhance and preserve its beauty.

John Watson brought our attention to the eventual, inevitable, outcome if the Gregory Canyon landfill is permitted to progress. This is a long term decision that will affect multiple future generations .

By the way, I thoroughly enjoyed Lucette Moramarco’s report on “Tale of Two Hamlets named Bonsall.” It makes me want to get on the plane tomorrow!
