FALLBROOK – It’s that time of year again; the time when everyone has an opportunity to support their local Girl Scouts and enjoy delicious cookies as well. The Fallbrook Girl Scouts began preparing for the cookie season in St. Peter’s parish hall with their Cookie Kick-Off on Jan. 20. This event included making crafts to be used at booth sales and fun activities to get the girls excited about the cookie season.
The cookie program not only helps the troop’s funding but also provides girls with a valuable opportunity to learn about how businesses work and how to handle money. The Fallbrook Girl Scouts will begin booth sales on Feb.7 at various locations in Fallbrook including Albertson’s, Major Market, Daniel’s, Joe’s Hardware, Jack’s Place at Fallbrook Golf Club, Fresh & Easy, and more.
Everyone is asked to support its local Girl Scouts this cookie season.
If anyone is interested in joining Fallbrook Girls Scouts, they can email Angela Clift at [email protected] or call Ashley Lewis at (619) 610-0817.
