Perris Fire Damages Mobile Home; No Injuries Reported

PERRIS - A fire damaged a Perris mobile home this afternoon, but no injuries were reported, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

The blaze was reported around 1:50 p.m. near the intersection of Markham Street and Webster Avenue, near the Moreno Valley city limits.

A fire department spokeswoman said four engine crews, numbering around a dozen personnel, arrived to find the unoccupied structure aflame. She said crews quickly contained the fire, preventing it from damaging adjacent properties.

The cause was under investigation....
