What's the real truth about SLRD golf course?

In the Feb. 13 Village News, Mr. Vessels who owns the San Luis Rey Downs Golf Course (SLRD) said that no decisions have been made about the future of SLRD. Yet in the Feb. 17 edition of the UT San Diego newspaper the story is a bit different!

That article states that two years ago the course owners decided to sell! Come to find out that Conservation Land Group, Inc. has an exclusive option to buy the property through a subsidiary called Moosa Creek, LLC. What gives?
