Some seniors say "I don't have anyone anymore!"

FALLBROOK – A retired nurse who is now a widow was referred by a friend to Innovative Healthcare Consultants. She started by telling an RN Care Manager that she is all alone and worried about what will happen to her if no one is there advocating on her behalf. She never had children and even though she had good friends, they were all about her age, in their 70’s and 80’s.

As a nurse, she had seen patients in the hospital who didn’t have anyone around to advocate for them. She dreaded the idea of developing a serious health problem and finding herself all alone.
