Boy Scout Troop 739 poses for a photo with the 1st Medical Battalion, 1st Marine Logistics Group, Camp Pendleton, who helped the scouts earn their First Aid Merit Badge.
FALLBROOK – Boy Scout Troop 739, with the assistance of 1st Medical Battalion, 1st Marine Logistics Group, Camp Pendleton, and commanding officer Capt. Jim LeTexier, was able to earn its First Aid Merit Badge.
At the event, 12 Scouts had a chance to work side-by-side with Veterans Hospital Corpsmen and Marines who had served in Iraq and Afghanistan. The Scouts learned many life-saving techniques and had an opportunity to use cutting-edge equipment.
