The mid-year budget adjustments approved Feb. 25 by the San Diego County Board of Supervisors included appropriating $900,000 for consultant services to develop water quality improvement plans for seven watershed management areas including the San Luis Rey watershed.
The supervisors’ 5-0 vote utilized a balance in the 2012-13 general fund to provide money for the work.
