Learn how to 'Grain Up' on March 27

FALLBROOK – The Fallbrook Hospital Diabetes Support Group will be hosting a talk, “Grain Up,” on Thursday, March 27 from 10 to 11 a.m.

Fallbrook Hospital’s Maggie Walters, MS, registered dietitian and certified diabetes educator, will provide the presentation.

Attendees will learn about low-gluten grains and ways to incorporate new grains into one’s diet without overdoing carbohydrates.

This support group is designed for anyone who has diabetes (or pre-diabetes) or is living with a person(s) with diabetes. The information provided is useful to everyone interested in good nutrition.
