My parents retired and moved to Bonsall in 1974. Both were avid golfers and began enjoying the beautiful course known as San Luis Rey Downs nestled along the periphery of the San Luis Rey River basin. They have since passed on and my family occupied their home in 1997 to raise our family. We enjoy the peaceful setting and serenity of the course as we drive along it on a daily basis. The course was skillfully interwoven into the natural wilderness setting which remains to this day.
