Braeden Koran was one of three college golfers who tied for third place at the TMC Spring Invitational tournament March 3-4 at the Robinson Ranch course in Santa Clarita.
After a first-round score of 77, Koran took 72 shots in each of the next two rounds to finish with a 54-hole score of 221. Cal State University San Marcos, for whom Koran has golfed since his Fallbrook High School graduation last June, won the tournament with a team score of 892.
“I just felt like that’s the best I hit the ball in a long time,” Koran said.
