$207,375 approved for sidewalks - CDBG funds allotted for work at Ammunition and Alturas Roads

The County of San Diego’s 2014-15 Community Development Block Grant, HOME Investment Partnerships, Emergency Shelter Grant, and Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS annual funding plan will include money for sidewalk improvements at Ammunition Road and Alturas Road.

A 5-0 vote April 15 by the San Diego County Board of Supervisors allocated $207,375 for sidewalk improvements including curbs, gutters, and pedestrian ramps at that intersection. The sidewalks will provide connectivity for pedestrians accessing nearby neighborhood services, schools, and public transportation.
