I have written to Darrell Issa again to protest about the heavy traffic on South Mission Road (increase in population) – and the narrow entry at the intersection of Big Oak Ranch Rd. and the obstacle of a hill on the south, making it a hazard to turn out and southbound towards Bonsall. It is also risky to turn right (northbound) on Mission since we cannot see the fast-moving cars (due to hill) to make safe entry into the roadway.
We have now had 19 accidents at that spot.
I will be 90 years old on May 12 and I may not live to see this problem solved. I have sent signed petitions by our neighbors to many offices. The excuse from Caltrans is “no money.” Where do our tax dollars go?
Whenever a house goes up for sale, our local Realtors say they hesitate to show it as they don’t want a client to face this traffic problem, therefore our real estate value is being hurt.
Thank you to others who can help support getting a solution to this problem.
