Group Seeks Volunteers to Help with Veterans Tribute

RIVERSIDE - With less than two weeks to go, a veterans advocacy group is seeking volunteers to help with a Memorial Day weekend mission to plant miniature American flags alongside the graves of servicemen and women buried at Riverside National Cemetery as part of an annual tribute that has grown in size every year.

On Saturday, May 24, Cypress-based Honoring Our Fallen will hold its third annual ''Flag for Every Hero'' ceremony, during which families, Boy Scouts, Explorer troops and anyone else who wants to participate walk the cemetery grounds, placing flags adjacent to plots.
