In July 2013, the San Diego County Board of Supervisors adopted the county’s fire master plan which provided a blueprint for the San Diego County Regional Fire Authority and for the provision of fire and emergency medical services in unincorporated San Diego County. An update was presented to the Board of Supervisors on April 29, 2014, and in addition to receiving the update the supervisors also approved $257,607 of expenditures for the SDCRFA.
