San Onofre students appreciate firefighters

SAN ONOFRE – The recent fires were very destructive and threatening to many communities. Families in San Onofre housing on Camp Pendleton had to evacuate as fires spread close to their homes. The community was very grateful for the tiring and seemingly endless work required to contain these fires.

To show their appreciation, San Onofre students held a “Heroes Welcome” for Camp Pendleton firefighters. Classes made banners, cards, and flags to show their gratitude for these heroes.
