Sansom's grandson graduates from Annapolis

FALLBROOK – Ensign Michael H. Tauskey, grandson of Joan and Howard Sansom of Fallbrook, graduated from the US Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md. on May 23 and was commissioned as an officer in the US Navy.

Ens. Tauskey successfully completed four years of professional training, resulting in a bachelor of science degree. He also completed a total immersion program where a strong, balanced academic program focusing on the educational needs of the Navy and the Marine Corps is superimposed on a strict, professional military training environment emphasizing the development of leadership skills.

Ens. Tauskey has been assigned to NAS Pensacola where he will begin his training as a naval flight officer. He is a 2010 graduate of Junipero Serra High School in San Mateo, Calif.
