Healthcare district awards 23 grants totaling $590,000

FALLBROOK – Fallbrook Healthcare District awarded 23 grants totaling $590,000 to non-profit agencies that provide health and wellness services to the people of the greater Fallbrook community at its board meeting June 11.

Types of service include medical, dental and mental health services as well as educational, therapeutic, ancillary and preventive programs that are developed and delivered to meet the needs of people of all ages. Most of these agencies have limited staff and resources. Many rely on volunteers to deliver their program benefits.
