Final Summer Nights event "A Salute to the Military," chili cook-off on Aug. 22

FALLBROOK – Friday evening Aug. 22 will be the final Summer Nights event of the season in downtown Fallbrook and the sponsoring organization, the Village Association, said the theme will be “A Salute to the Military.”

“August 22 will provide just one more opportunity to say ‘thank you’ to our military personnel – present, past and future,” said Kathie Richards. “Red, white and blue will cover the streets and patriotic music will fill the air. Star Kids will open the event at 5p.m. with “The Star Spangled Banner.”
