3.1 magnitude earthquake strikes Pine Valley

A small earthquake, with an estimated 3.1 magnitude, rattled the desert early today about 14 miles east-northeast of Pine Valley, the United States Geological Survery (USGS) said.

The slight quake was reported at 1:18 a.m.
