FALLBROOK – On July 18, friends and family gathered to cheer on their swimmers at the Boys & Girls Clubs of North County’s first-ever club swim meet. Every Friday for the past two months, members of the club’s swim team have been preparing for the opportunity to show what they have learned.
Coach Jamie Jacobs has taken the time to teach each member of the team how to properly swim freestyle, breast stroke, and back stroke. For most of the team, this was the first time anyone had ever shown them how to swim anything but freestyle.
