Temecula checkpoint nets zero drunken drivers

The Riverside County Sheriff department held a sobriety checkpoint Friday evening. According to police, zero drunken drivers were found at the checkpoint held in the 28700 block of Old Town Front Street in Temecula.

The checkpoint began operations Friday evening at 7 p.m. and ended at 1 a.m. Saturday.

“Only one motorist was cited or arrested for allegedly driving on a suspended license,” said Riverside County sheriff's Sgt. Joe Greco.
