Democratic club to meet Sept. 4

FALLBROOK – The September Fallbrook Democratic Club Meeting will be held on Thursday, Sept. 4, at the Fallbrook Hilltop Center, 331 East Elder St. Social hour will begin at 6:30 p.m., meeting at 7. All are invited to join them for a fun and educational evening

Guest speaker will be Kathi Carbone, who serves as the honorary mayor of Bonsall. She will speak about recent growth and projects in the Bonsall and Fallbrook areas. Carbone was very active with fundraising for Francine Busby’s last congressional campaign and as DEMO’S fundraising director.

There is also a food drive for the Fallbrook Food Pantry to provide food for residents in the community in need of food. Everyone is asked to bring any non-perishable food in unbreakable containers – canned foods, pasta, cereals, etc.
