Freaney and Presto friends to perform at library

FALLBROOK – A special concert will be given by Robert Freaney and Presto friends on Sept. 28 at 2 p.m. at Fallbrook Library, 124 S. Mission Rd. The Presto piano group was established seven years ago by a group of master class piano students studying at Palomar College.

Since 2007, Presto has met every month at a member’s San Diego home to perform classical piano repertoire for their fellow associates. All levels of pianists are welcome to Presto. Members’ ages range from 19 to 102, with talents ranging from beginners to doctors with music degrees.

Although there are professional musicians and piano teachers attending the meetings, most Presto members work in very different professions, practicing the classical repertoire in their spare time. All four pianists performing at the library are members.
